Jody "Joe" Jelinski

Jody "Joe" N. Jelinski of Stevens Point died early Friday evening, June 18, 2021 at Stevens Point Health Care Services while under the care of Compassus Hospice.

Age 53, Joe was born January 21, 1968 in Stevens Point. He was the son of the late Edwin and Lorraine (Cisewski) Jelinski.

He attended local schools, graduating from Stevens Point Area Senior High (SPASH) in 1986.

Joe worked for Blue Top restaurant as an assistant chef for many years, and also Figi's before he became disabled.

In his free time, he loved spending time with his dog and best friend Abbigayle.

Joe is survived by his siblings; Leonard (Debra) Jelinski of Plover, Bruce Jelinski of Junction City, his identical twin brother Jeff Jelinski of Wausau, Cheryl (Bernard) Klawikowski of Plover, Mary (Jerry) Opperman of Redgranite, and Kristine (Tim) Egner of Stratford, and his half-brothers Jack (Jane) Jelinski of Boseman, MT, and David (Joan) Jelinski of Swansea, MA.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Lorraine Jelinski and a brother Gary Jelinski.
