John P. (Patrick) Kosmalski

Of Rosholt, passed away early Saturday afternoon, September 21, 2024 at his parents' home.

Age 32 John was born April 12, 1992 in Stevens Point. He is the son of Patrick and Cynthia "Cindi" (Zimbauer) Kosmalski of Rosholt. John attended local grade schools in Rosholt, graduating from Rosholt High School in 2011, and then attended North Central Technical College in the farming and agriculture program.

His marriage to Kathryn "Katie" Kontney took place on May 16, 2020 at St. Mary's Catholic  Church Torun. After their marriage the couple settled in Rosholt.

John worked for Heartland Farms for the past nine years working his way up to Assistant Farm Manager

In his free time, he was a devoted husband and father, willing to help anyone out in need.

In lieu of flowers, donations and contributions to his children's education fund would be appreciated.

Survivor include his wife Katie, his two step children  Avin and Violet, and his children Lucas, Emilia, and twins Margaret and Bridget and a baby boy due in February 2025. His parents Patrick and Cyndi Kosmalski, a sister Kimberly Kosmalski and two nieces Madelynn and Macey.

Further survived by his Mother and Father-in-law; Mark and Peggy Kontney, a brother-in-law Jeff (Emily) Kontney and two sisters- in- laws Kristine (Eric) Novey and Jenna (Josh) Omernik and two nephews Edward and Liam.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at St. Mary's Catholic Church Torun. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM Thursday morning at St. Mary's Church until the time for mass. The Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
