Joyce C. Biadasz o f Stevens Point, died Friday afternoon, October 22, 2021 at Care Partners Assisted Living Center in Whiting with her daughter Kathy and her loving family at her side.
Age 93 Joyce was born March 31, 1928 in Milwaukee, Wisc. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Stacia (Glodowski) Jakubiak. She attended schools in the Milwaukee area. Her marriage to Dominic Biadasz Sr. took place on May 7, 1949 at St. Mary's of Mt. Carmel Catholic church in Fancher. Her husband Dominic Sr. preceded her in death on January 24, 2021.
Joyce in her younger years worked for the Milwaukee Shoe factory, and then for Del Monte canning in Plover for a number years. She was a wonderful wife and loving mother as she tended to the household, helping on the farm and raising her five children. In her free time, she enjoyed tending to her flower garden, listening to Polka music, going to church picnics and playing cards at the Lincoln Center. She was a member of the St. Mary's of Mt Carmel Rosary Society.
In lieu of flowers a memorial in her name will be established at a later date.
Survivors include her children; Dominic Jr. (special friend Linda Firkus) and Richard Biadasz both of Stevens Point and a daughter Kathleen (Joe) Modrzewski of Amherst, WI., three grandchildren Brian (Jenny) Biadasz and their children Colton, Jake and Abby, Perry (Kristin) Biadasz and Niki (Travis) Tilton.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dominic Sr., two daughters Patricia Lyons and Jeanette Biadasz and one sister Rose Mary Jakubiak.
A special thank you to Linda Firkus for her loving time and care given to our mother during her final days with us, and also Judy Slowinski a dear friend as well.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday October 28, 2021 at St. Bronislava Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Mary's of Mt. Carmel Catholic church Cemetery in Fancher. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time for mass at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover. The Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
