Judith A. Kitowski
Of Stevens Point passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital.
Age 90 Judith was born November 30, 1933 in the Town of Galloway. She was the daughter of the late Ben and Althea (Marquard) Zywicki. She attended local grade schools, graduating from Amherst High School.
Judith worked for Sentry Insurance for over 24 years in the cafeteria department. Her marriage to Chester Stanczyk took place on June 8 1957 at St. James Catholic church in Amherst. Chester preceded her in death on December 22, 1975.
She then married Raymond P. Kitowski on June 4, 1977 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church (now Holy Spirit Parish). Raymond preceded her in death on November 7, 2012. Together they both loved to spend winters in Texas, and would camp at Patricia Lake Campground during the summer for over 24 years, and also loved to boat and ice fish together for many years.
She loved to bake peanut butter cookies, and bake lots of pies to share with her family and neighbors. Judy loved to play Bingo, Happy Hour and Kings Corners at Dimensions Living Center.
Judy was a member of the PCCW of Holy Spirit Church for over 60 years, and was also a Ladies of the Moose Lodge member for over 24 years.
Judy is survived by her step children; Carol Haas of Boise, ID., Linda (Ronald ) Parks of Wausau, Gary (Diana) Kitowski of Bend, OR., and Myra (Conrad) Wroblewski of Stevens Point, along with 13 step grandchildren and nine great step grandchildren.
Further survived by her two sisters Lynette Woyak of Plainfield, WI.,and Jeanette Batten of Waupaca.
Judy was preceded in death by her husbands Chester and Raymond, a sister Delphine Shulfer and one brother Harold Zywicki.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Holy Spirit Catholic church. Rev. Steve Brice officiating. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM Tuesday morning at Holy Spirit Parish until the time for mass.
