Kathleen "Kathy" Wisinski, age 80, found peace on September 24, 2024, after years of struggling with Dementia. The daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Shuda) Raflik, she was born on July 13, 1944, in Stevens Point, WI.
Kathy married Donald Wisinski on November 30, 1963, at St. Bartholomew Church. They were happily married for 60 years.
Kathy loved watching her grandchildren and provided day care for them and other children until she entered the workforce. She worked at M&I Bank for 18 years before retiring in 2009.
Her hobbies and interests were knitting, marigold flowers, listening to polkas, canning vegetables, and singing with the Choraliers for polka masses.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband Donald; her children Brian (Deb), Perry (Debbie), and Scott (Emily); her grandchildren Amanda (Kyle), Jeremy (Britteny), Ashley (Chad), Katelyn (Tim), Kyle (Claire), Brandon (Yali), Aurora, Wren; and step grandchildren Ryan (Randi), Danielle (Luis), and Destiny (Kris). She was blessed with 11 great grandchildren and six step great grandchildren. She was also survived by her brothers Jerry (Sharon), Joe (Jo), Pat; her sisters Ann Somers, Aggie Hausman, and Dorothy Sankey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Jimmy, Jack, Joanette, and Chet; her parents in-law Margaret and Alois Wisinski; sisters in-law Kathy Raflik, Darlene Raflik, Ruth Raflik, Terry Yenter, Gladys Pampuch, and Irene Skiba; brothers in-law Rich Somers, Bill Sankey, Chet Wisinski, Lenny Wisinski, Clarence Pampuch, Hubert Yenter, and Ray Skiba.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Kathy will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday October 3, 2024, at St. Peter Catholic Church- 800 4th Avenue Stevens Point. A parish rosary will be prayed in the St. Faustina Room starting at 9:00AM with visitation afterwards at 9:30AM, until the time of service. Fr. John Potaczek will officiate. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
