Kathy J. Lepak (Zelhofer) passed away Thursday, December 24th at UW-Madison Hospital surrounded by the love of her four children after a long battle with health complications. Kathy was born October 17th, 1969 in Stevens Point.

She is the daughter of Geraldine (Kita) Zelhofer of Stevens Point and her late father John Zelhofer. Kathy attended St. Stephens Grade School and graduated from Pacelli High School in 1988 where she was an avid cross country and track participant, earning multiple state titles and setting school records, still standing in the Pacelli hall of fame. Kathy then ran at University of WI- Stevens Point.

Kathy worked at Saint Michael's Hospital as the Emergency Room Secretary for many years. She married Kurt Lepak in 1992, the couple later divorced. She was the proud mother of four children, Steven, Riley (Chafen), Jake and Tye. Her favorite title was Grandma to Blakely Jo. She enjoyed watching her children in their athletic endeavors.

Kathy is survived by her four children, son-in-law Chafen and granddaughter Blakely (Colorado Springs), mother Geraldine Zelhofer, three brothers; Keith (Tammy) Zelhofer of Green Bay, Kent Zelhofer, Kevin (Ruth) Zelhofer, and her one sister Karla (Kurt) Strojny, Former Father-in-law Kenneth (Trish) all of Stevens Point, and 8 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father John, her brother Kurt and her sister-in-law Sue.

Kathy enjoyed TAB soda, Law and Order shows, her dog Chloe, cooking her favorite foods, and spending time with family and friends. Kathy was proud of her two children who serve in the US Armed Forces and all of her children's accomplishments throughout the years. Kathy was a social butterfly who always made people feel loved and valued. She made an impact and will be deeply missed.
