Lamar "Mickey" P. Kluck, 88, passed away December 12, 2022, at home with his wife Cecelia by his side. The family was there to support her after he went to meet his favorite niece and others that passed before him.

Lamar was born on June 30, 1934, in Stevens Point to Florian (Butch) & Frances (Olszewski) Kluck. After his mother's passing, he lived at the Polonia orphanage until he went to live with his Uncle Hubert Kluck as a toddler. After Hubert's passing, he lived with Frank & Adeline (Kluck) Bruski who raised him as their own.

He attended St Stans Catholic School, graduated from PJ Jacobs High School in 1952. He was a member of the winning football team and was elected captain for the Point – Rapids game. He also wrestled in high school.

He married Cecelia Orlowski on October 15, 1955, at St Mary's Catholic Church in Torun. It was the very first wedding to be held in the new church.

After marriage they moved to Milwaukee where he worked at American Motors until he was laid off. He then worked for Harnishfeger Corp. They moved back to Point where he owned and operated Kluck's Eastside Mobil Station. After he sold the station, he went to work for the Soo-Line Railroad where he worked until retirement.

He & Cecelia enjoyed traveling around the United States visiting friends and relatives and meeting new people. They went to Alaska and Hawaii as well as Mexico & Canada. They owned a place in Arbor Vitae that was Mickey's special summer get a away. He spent most of his days fishing with his friend Ron.

Winters were spent at their place in Bullhead City AZ where they enjoyed trips to the desert and mountains and crossing the river into Laughlin NV.

He enjoyed the outdoors, dogs and kids. He taught kids to fish, hunt, care for animals and enjoy nature. The house was always filled with children even though they only had two of their own. He was handy and could fix or build almost anything.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years as well as son Daniel (Cheryl) Junction City WI, daughter Susan (Jeffrey) Stroik, Junction City WI, Granddaughters Jody (Josh) Helton, Zumbro Falls MN and Cindy Kluck, Stevens Point, WI as well as his beloved great-grandson's Eli, Henry & Oakley.
