Leonard (Guzy) Guzman, 72, of Mosinee (Town of Knowlton) died peacefully at home under Hospice care surrounded by family on September 27 th 2021. He was born on August 22 nd 1949, in Stevens Point. He is the son of the late Robert and Julia (Wiernik) Guzman.
Leonard graduated from PJ Jacobs Highschool in 1967, He worked at Vetter Manufacturing until 1968 when he enlisted in the Airforce. He served for four years including 1 year in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in 1972 as a SSGT. Returning to civilian life Leonard went back to work at Vetter. He found the love of his life at Club L&A. He married Catherine (Zinda) a year later June 15 th 1974. They purchased the family farm in June of 1975 where they raised their family. Leonard left Vetter in 1980 to dairy farm full time.
He spent the next 40 years on the farm and moved to Mosinee in 2015. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Loved to watch westerns Gunsmoke John Wayne and the Lone Ranger to name a few. He especially liked to watch sports with is wife the Packers Badgers and forever a diehard Dodgers fan. Leonard was a proud Vietnam veteran; he was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 115. He received an Honor Stone at The High ground Veterans Memorial Park in 2017. He went on an Honor Flight in 2019 with his oldest daughter Jessica as his sponsor.
Survivors include wife Catherine. Children and grandchildren include Jessica (Marc) Powell son Michael. Abraham Guzman, Matthew (Tracy) Guzman children: Jonah, Megan, and Eric. Amanda (Nate) Sennhenn children: Riley, Samuel, and Julia. Brother Alvin Guzman El Paso, Texas.
Leonard was preceded in death by his brother, Conrad Guzman and a sister Gloria Olszewski.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Leonard will be held on Saturday October 2, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church Millcreek. Father Packi will officiate. Visitation on Saturday from 9:30a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial with full military honors will follow in the parish cemetery.
