Leonard Kubowski

Of Stevens Point passed away early Wednesday morning, December 8, 2021 at Riverview Assisted Living in Whiting.

Age 83 Leonard was born June 2, 1938 in Stevens Point. He was the son of the late Theodore and Lucille (Demski) Kubowski. Leonard attended local schools. His marriage to Veronica Pezewski took place on July 8, 1961 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia. After their marriage the couple settled in Stevens Point. His wife Veronica preceded him in death on March 24, 2012.

As a child Leonard loved working on the family farm, he then worked for Montgomery Wards, and also the Junction City Feed Mill until his retirement in 2000. In his retirement he loved traveling around going to rummage sales with his wife Veronica, also enjoyed working on and fixing tractors, fixing and sharpening chain saws, going to Bingo and doing detailed coloring books and working on eye spy books to keep busy.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Leonard's name at a later date.

Survivors include his special godchildren; Brenda Kubisiak, Gregory Bellinger, John Byczynski and Veronica Sazama. His three sisters in laws; Sophie Kubisiak, Mary Bellinger and Roseann (Victor) Byczynski, and many other nieces and nephews. Leonard was preceded in death by his wife Veronica and a brother Raymond.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at the Pisarski Funeral Home, 703 Second St., Stevens Point. Deacon Ray Heitzinger officiating. Burial to follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until the time for services. The Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
