Lillian A. Kaminski

July 14, 1929 — May 11, 2022

Stevens Point

Lillian A. Kaminski, age 92, formerly of the town of Stockton, passed peacefully Wednesday afternoon, May 11, 2022 at Aspirus Hospital in Stevens Point.

Lillian was born on July 14, 1929, a daughter of the late Roman and Frances (Mozuch) Hintz. She was married to Stephen Kaminski at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church in Bevent on November 23, 1946.

Lillian was a homemaker and a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She enjoyed gardening, flowers, canning, baking, cooking, shopping, raising chickens from baby chicks, and being surrounded by her family, especially the young children and babies. She was extremely proud of her Polish heritage and traveled to Poland on several occasions. Her Catholic faith was a very important part of her entire life.  She prayed daily and loved attending Mass - watching it on TV when she was no longer able to attend in person.   Her loving and giving spirit will be greatly missed.

Survivors include two sons, Andrew and Steven (Sharon) Kaminski, both of Stevens Point; four daughters, Irene Kostuchowski of Stevens Point, Suzanne (Ralph) Hopfensperger of Kaukauna, Mary (Jim) Schiller of Waupaca, and Veronica (Jerry) Bruske of Custer; two sisters, Dorothy (James) Wachowiak of Milwaukee, Selma Studinski-Glodowski of Stevens Point; sisters-in-law Theresa Hullin and Frances Kaminski both of Stevens Point; 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren (plus 2 more on the way); and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lillian was preceded in death by one infant son, Leonard Joseph; son-in-law, Richard Kostuchowski; infant granddaughter Kristi Kaminski; four sisters, Veronica (Winifred) Mlodik, Theresa Kulas, Anna Palbrach, Regina Stencil; six brothers, Stanley (died at birth), Anton, Florian, Raymond, Frank and Chester Hintz.

The family would like to thank Wellington Place of Whiting for the care given to Lillian the past two years.
