Linda L. Engebretson – Wiegele

Formerly of Stevens Point, of Town of Wolf River, Fremont died early Wednesday morning April 27, 2022 unexpectedly at her home.

Age 65 Linda was born February 15, 1957 in Stevens Point. She was the daughter of the late Oscar and Isabelle (Zywicki) Engebretson. She attended local grade schools and graduated from SPASH in 1975. She married Frank Wiegele in Milwaukee then moving to the Fremont area. He preceded her in death on August 29,  2007.

Linda worked for many years at Jellystone Camp grounds in the housekeeping department, retiring in March of 2022. In her free time Linda loved the outdoors, nature and camping.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Linda's name will be established at a later date.

Survivors include a special friend, Joel Filtz, four sisters; Theresa Seybold of Milwaukee, Barbara (Ken) Hottenstein of West Bend, Maryann Spielvogel of Oostburg and Sandy (Dale) Lepinski of Rosholt. Her two brothers Raymond (Marlene) Mansavage of Stevens Point and Edward Engebretson of Plover, and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank, her sister Christine "Tina" Engebretson and four brothers Ralph Mansavage, Norman Engebretson, Ronald Engebretson and Andrew Engebretson.
