Linda S. Rasmussen

Linda S. Rasmussen, age 70, of Plover, died Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital after succumbing to the Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).

Linda was born on May 11, 1950 in Stevens Point, the daughter of Harry and Grace (Kostuchowski) Zdroik.  She grew up in Stevens Point, attending local schools as well as the State College of Beauty Culture in Wausau.

Linda was united in marriage to Richard R. Rasmussen on October 23, 1982 at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Stevens Point.

She was a member of St. Stephens and enjoyed creating Crafts, collecting Precious Moments Dolls, traveling, knitting and crocheting and reading.

Linda is survived by; her husband, Rich, of Plover; son, Chad Rasmussen, of Stevens Point; nephew Dan (Kelly) Zdroik, Brentwood, CA and their children, Kaitlynn and Payton; nephew  Tony (Tracy) Zdroik, New Richmond, WI and children, Dylan, Claire, Phoebe and Aubrie; sister-in-law Lois (Jim) Olson, Iola; niece Wendy (Bart) Bonikowske and daughters, Brenna and Brooke; niece Marci (Adam) Wolberg and sons, Owen and Wyatt; uncle Bob Kostuchowski, Stevens Point; and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by; her parents; and her brother, Ron Zdroik.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Stephens Catholic Church, 1401 Clark Street, Stevens Point, 54481 at 11:00AM on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 with the Rev. Jeffrey W. Hennes presiding.  Burial will follow at Guardian Angel Cemetery.

A Visitation for family and friends will be at the Pisarski Funeral Home, 703 Second Street, Stevens Point, from 9:00AM until 10:30AM on Tuesday. MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE REQUIRED AT THE VISITATION AND AT THE MASS.
