She was born March 16, 1929 in Milwaukee. Parents William Lenz Sr. and Lillian Lenz ( Streng )
She graduated from Wauwatosa High School while working as a long distance telephone operator.

She married Donald Ruehl on September 20, 1947 at St. Matthew's Church in Wauwatosa.
Lois worked occasional part time jobs in addition to her primary focus as a homemaker.

She enjoyed sewing, crafts, reading, decorating, gardening, and focusing on her family.
Her favorite vacations were to Williamsburg, VA and Mackinac Island, MI.

She is survived by two sons, Don and Kevin, and a daughter-in-law, Beth, all of Stevens Point.
Six grandchildren, Greg ( Stephanie ), Rebecca, Emy, Robert ( Sarah ), Laura Sullivan ( Brian ),
and Theresa Klawitter ( Jay ). Seven great grandchildren, Ellie, Cooper, Brianna, Hannah, Ella,
Carson, Elijah, Amariah. Sister, Ethel Slason and sister-in-law Ann Lenz, both of New Berlin.
Niece's Linda and Janice Slason and Laura Lenz.

Preceded in death by her husband, Donald Sr. Two brothers, Marvin and William Lenz. Sister-
in-law Sharon Lenz. Brother-in-law William Slason. Daughter-in-law Karen Ruehl and nephew Nathan Lenz.

Private services will be held. Lois will be laid to rest next to her husband Donald at the Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King.
