Loretta F. Klesmit

Loretta F. Klesmit, 72, of Polonia died Sunday February 20, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family after a short battle with cancer. She was under the care of Compassus Hospice Services. Loretta was born on  June 12, 1949, in Stevens Point. She was the daughter of the late Nick and Alvina (Wierzba ) Kurszewski. She attended local schools graduating from Rosholt High School.

Her marriage to Roger Klesmit took place on May 3, 1980, at St. Adalbert Catholic Church Rosholt.

Loretta worked at Lullabye Furniture, Golden County Foods, YMCA and Sacred Heart Catholic School.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Rosary Society.

She enjoyed, gardening, fishing, cooking and baking, watching the birds, spending time with family, church picnics and listening to polkas.

Survivors include her husband, Roger of Polonia. Brothers and sister, Marge (Randy) Suchowski, Myron (Kathy) Kurszewski, John Kurszewski and Ernie (Lori) Kurszewski. Brother-in-law, Dennis Raflik, sister-in-law, Jeanette Kaminski and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister Mary Raflik.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Loretta will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday  February 24, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 7379 Church Street, Custer WI. Rev. Mark Miller will officiate. Visitation on Wednesday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Pisarski Funeral Home 703 Second Street Stevens Point and again on Thursday from 10:00am until time of service at the church. Parish rosary will be prayed at 7:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Pisarski Funeral Homes are honored to be serving the family.
