Lorraine B. Liebe

Lorraine B. Liebe, 95, of Stevens Point, died Saturday February 20, 2021, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Wausau. She was under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice. Lorraine was born on April 13, 1925 in Stevens Point.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Piotrowski)Truna. She attended local schools.

Her marriage to Raymond Liebe took place on October 25, 1941, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. After the marriage the couple settled in Stevens Point. Her husband Raymond died on April 8, 1995.

In her earlier years Lorraine was employed as a Housekeeper.

She enjoyed bingo, visiting the casino and morning TV.

Survivors include her children, Barbara Johnston of Plover, Robert (Karen) Liebe of Stevens Point, Ronald (Linda) Liebe of Plover, Donald Liebe of Stevens Point, Sally Swiander of Plover, Bernadine (Gerald) Rekowski of Custer and Diane Kranski of Milwaukee.  17 Grandchildren, 28  Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Sister, Florence (Eugene) Zagorski of Stevens Point.

She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas. Sisters, Genevieve Lill and Sr. Jane. Son-in-law, Charles Johnston.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday  February 25, 2021, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church 2151 Stanley Street Stevens Point. Rev Steve Brice will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
