Lorraine M. Pionkowski

Lorraine M. Pionkowski, of Stevens Point passed away early Wednesday morning, April 14, 2021 at Ascension St. Michaels Hospital.

Age 92 Lorraine was born August 25, 1928 in the Town of Stockton. She was the daughter of the late Peter & Bertha (Kleismith) Lepak.

Her marriage to Florian Pionkowski took place on August 20, 1949 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia. After their marriage the couple settled in Stevens Point. Her husband Florian preceded her in death on May 1, 1991.

Lorraine worked for Normington Dry Cleaners for many years.

She enjoyed playing Bingo, socializing events on Fridays at her apartment complex, and with her strong faith loved praying.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name to Sacred Heart Catholic Church would be appreciated.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband Florian and one brother Lawrence Lepak.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday April 20, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia. Rev. Alan Guanella officiating. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery. Family and friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 19, 2021 at the Pisarski Funeral Home, 703 Second St., Stevens Point. There will be a rosary prayed at 5:30 p.m. Monday evening. Masks and social distancing will be required at the funeral home on Monday and at Church Tuesday for the Mass.
