Louanne M. Olszewski

July 3, 1955 — February 21, 2022

Stevens Point

LouAnne was a devoted Wife, beloved Mother, beautiful Grandmother, Sister, and Friend to many and was welcomed into the Heavenly Gates by her beautiful Grand-daughter; Lucy Lorraine Hoffman, her parents, and the Lord our Savior on 02/21/2022 peacefully at home holding the hand of her loving Husband after a short and courageous battle with cancer.  LouAnne was truly an Angel on earth to all that had the pleasure of knowing her.

LouAnne was born 07/03/1955 to Leo and Lorraine (Bannach) Hintz in Stevens Point.  She attended local schools and graduated from Maria High School in 1973.  After graduation she was a babysitter and shortly after, she committed to her career at Herrschners in 1974 where she met the love of her life David; with her beautiful looks and heart of gold she caught the eyes of the young truck driver and tugged at his heart strings.  People don't meet by accident and on 08/20/1977 the two of them were united in marriage at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church by Father Dennis Lynch.  Together they raised four beautiful children on a peaceful farm West of Stevens Point.  David took the city out of the girl and made her into one heck of a county farm girl and she never looked back.

LouAnne's pride and joy was her family, she enjoyed every minute with them.  LouAnne was an amazing cook and if you left hungry at any family gathering or visit it was your own fault.  The love she had was indescribable, her door and ears were always open, her hugs were available when life broke you down, and her heart was flowing with support at any given moment.  LouAnne was always keeping people before herself, her selflessness will always be remembered.  So many things were gifted from her to her children, but some of her traits are melted in her children's soul as we try to be half of the beautiful human that she was with the gentle heart, soft voice, sweetness of souls and absolute heart of gold.

LouAnne enjoyed working hard on the farm, growing the most beautiful flowers, tending to God's beautiful creations; especially the birds she kept healthy and full of food.  In the years past, LouAnne also enjoyed deer hunting and successfully harvested a number of bucks and her Husband was so proud.  She loved fishing, especially pan fishing with her Husband and family.  She also enjoyed growing the most beautiful and fruitful vegetable garden, camping, crocheting, shopping, putting puzzles together, polka dancing, Green Bay Packers, her loving dog: Selena, spending every Holiday with her family. She had the most beautifully decorated Christmas tree.  She had a love for family trips with her daughters to Colorado, Utah, Michigan, and Tennessee.  LouAnne especially enjoyed having the privilege of being a grandmother to her most cherished grandchildren.

LouAnne is survived by her Husband, David of 44years, Daughters: Veronica (Don Wagner), Victoria Zagrzebski (Troy),Valerie Hoffman (Jeff), Son: Michael (Brittney Keuntjes). Grandchildren Cordel and Chavelle Hoffman, Step Grandson: Creed Zagrzebski, One Sister: Linda Helminiak, One Brother: Leroy Hintz,-One Sister In-Law Diane Wiernik, One Brother In-Law: Stanley Olszewski (Mary), many nieces/nephews, cousins, and friends  She was preceded in death by her Parents: Leo and Lorraine Hintz, Father and Mother In-Law: Joseph and Lucy Olszewski, Infant Brother: Larry Hintz, Sister In-Law: Gloria Olszewski, Brother In-Law's: Henry Wiernik and Jim Helminiak, and her beautiful Granddaughter: Lucy Lorraine Hoffman.

The Family expresses gratitude to Carla at Compassus; your unremarkable personality, compassion, and your love for Mom was an absolute Blessing.  We know mom loved you being there for her and all of us.  Thank You Carla; you will always have a special place in our hearts.

In Lieu of Flowers; Donations can be gifted to Marshfield's Children's Hospital.

"As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you" from Isaiah 66:13.  This is the perfect image of maternal love.
