Anna "Loyce" Kluck, age 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Aspirus St. Michaels Hospital in Stevens Point, WI.
Loyce was born on May 21, 1932 in Sorgho, KY, a twin daughter of Everett and Mary Bessie Thompson Long. She graduated from St. Francis Academy in 1950 in Owensboro, KY. She married Burton Kluck in Kentucky on April 24, 1954 and moved to Stevens Point, WI shortly thereafter.
When the youngest of their children started kindergarten, she went to work at St. Michael's Hospital as an Admission Clerk in 1969. After seven years she was promoted to the Head Cashier position which she held until her retirement in 1986. She then took a position as Teller at the Community First Bank in Rosholt, WI. She retired after 14 years in 2000.
Loyce's husband Burton died on December 27, 2001. She is survived by her children Julie (Larry) Zunker, Stevens Point, Christopher (Barbara) Kluck, Waupaca, Molly (Jim) Berens, Rothschild, Peggy (Mike) Shippy, Stevens Point, Betsy (Patrick) Napiwocki, Stevens Point, Terry (Dave) Brzezinski, Bevent, and John (Laura) Kluck, Plover. She is further survived by 11 grandchildren Lee Kluck, Joe Kluck, Lacey Alfredson, Dan Berens, Heidi Nowitzke, Lindsey Fahrner, Ashley Shippy, Eric Napiwocki, Sara Zdroik, Andy Brzezinski and Amanda Brzezinski, 13 great grandchildren, her twin sister, Betty Joyce Kluck, Stevens Point, 3 sister-in-laws, Margaret Ann Long, Normand OK, Lucille Kluck, Tucson AZ, Camille Kluck, Stevens Point and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Loyce was preceded in death by her husband, one grandson, B. J. Brzezinski, her parents, 2 brothers, 4 sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Loyce's family would like to thank the staff at St. Michael's Hospital and caregivers at North Haven Assisted Living for their kindness and compassion given her these past weeks and years.
Loyce will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Polonia WI. Due to the current covid situation, private family services will be held to honor her.
