Lucy Wysocki, age 90, of Stevens Point, passed away on May 15, 2025. She was born July 7, 1934 in the Town of Hull, a daughter of the late Paul and Margaret (Losinski) Firkus. On November 12, 1950, Lucy married Roman Kizewski at St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Together, they had 3 children: Larry (Arlene) Kizewski, Lorraine (Eugene) Jacobs and Roxane Kizewski. After Roman's death on April 3, 1958, Lucy later married Arthur Wysocki July 30, 1960 at St. Peter's Catholic Church.
Lucy worked at the Fox Theatre, Rogers Cinema, and then at Pacelli High School until her retirement. She loved watching her grandchildren as they grew up, playing bingo, Christmas, family gatherings, flowers, gardening, canning, weekend Polkas, playing Pinochle, embroidering, anything chicken and rooster related, dog companionship, and traveling. A devout Catholic, Lucy loved St. Peter's Church, where she was a member of the St. Peter's Rosary Society, the Secular Franciscan Order and was part of the American Legion Post 6. She took great pride in marching in the Fourth of July Parade, carrying the flag at the head of the Legion group. Known for her laughter and playful spirit, Lucy's sweet and giving heart touched all who knew her and will be dearly missed by her many family members and friends.
Lucy is survived by her children, Larry (Arlene) Kizewski, Lorraine (Eugene) Jacobs; seven grandchildren including Sam (Lindsay) Kizewski, Wade (Angi) Kizewski, Seth (Wendy) Kizewski, Rick (Sarah) Jacobs, Jimbo (Kye) Jacobs Roberta (Claudio) de Paula; eight great-grandchildren, Tayler (Steve) Kizewski, Kaylee (Brian) Bollman, Ava Kizewski, Noah Kizewski, Chloe Kizewski, Caleb Kizewski, Carly Kizewski, Kiran Jacobs, Sophia de Paula; and one great-great-grandchild, Kendall Bollman.
