Lynn Eve Janowski

Lynn E. ( Eve) Janowski of Stevens Point, passed away Thursday morning, October 10, 2024 at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital with her family at her side.

Age 64, Lynn was born October 17, 1959 in Milwaukee, WI. She was the daughter of the late William and Joyce (Winter) Thayer.

She attended local grade schools, graduating from Cambridge High School in 1978.

Her marriage to Patrick Janowski took place on May 15, 1982 at Evangelical Lutheran church in Cambridge, WI. After their marriage the couple settled in Stevens Point. Her husband Pat survives.

Lynn worked as a CNA for a number of years at the Portage County Health Care Center. She then obtained her pharmacy technician certification through Mid State Technical college and worked for Copps Food Center pharmacy in Stevens Point, WI. She then transferred to Walgreens pharmacy for several years and spent the last 15 or more years as the Senior Beauty consultant at Walgreens in Stevens Point. She loved being the smiling face at the counter and helping her customers any way she could whether it be a saved coupon that she cut out for them or a friendly smile.

In her free time Lynn loved reading books, listening and dancing to music along with tending to her flower garden. She also enjoyed NASCAR and going fishing with her husband Pat. (Always out fishing him, of course.)

All that knew Lynn, knew that she was an amazing person. She was the most selfless, kind, and strong individual in every situation. She brought so much light to those surrounding her, even throughout her illness.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Lynn's name will be established at a later date.

Survivors include her husband Pat of Stevens Point, their two daughters Krystal (Travis) Carter of Onalaska, WI., and Mindy Janowski of Stevens Point, and her two grandchildren Avery and Riley. Further survived by one sister Gail (Lawrence) Bengal, and two brothers Guy (Patti) Thayer and Scott Thayer.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the Pisarski Funeral Home, 703 Second St., Stevens Point.

Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the time of services.

There will be a celebration of life at Waters Pub and Pier in Stevens Point from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM following the funeral services.
