Madeline J. Hagen

Madeline J Hagen, passed on the morning of August 16th, 2022, she was 81 years old.  Madeline was born in St. Anne IL on March 22, 1941, to Edward Gernon and Bernice Hughs Gernon.  Madeline grew up in IL and moved to WI as a Newlywed.

She is survived by her sister Bernie and brother George, her children Becky, Eric, Laura, Amy as well as 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  Madeline was a loving wife, mother, and grand and great grandmother.  She loved time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  She enjoyed the giggles of babies, listening to Elvis and the beauty of the seasons.

If you knew Madeline, you know she was quick witted and could be cheeky.  Always followed by a little smirk and a twinkle in her eye. She had an appreciation for nature and especially loved hummingbirds and tulips.

She was known for her strength and warm hugs.  We will miss her greatly.

In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to Parkinson's Research.

Service and prayers will be held at Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery N2665 Highway QQ Waupaca, WI on September 30, 2022, at 11:00 am. Where Madeline will join her late husband, Vernon.

Afterward we will have a celebration of life at Waupaca Wheelhouse.
