Madeline Kubisiak

Madeline Kubisiak "Honey Girl", 94, of Stevens Point, died Thursday July 1, 2021.  Madeline was born on June 26, 1927,to the late Anton and Mary (Wenzel) Morey.

At the age of five she started performing in the Mickey Mouse Club at the Fox Theater. They also entertained at church picnics and on the radio. She went to the local schools.

Her favorite subjects were art and gym class. Her pictures appeared on Murals and in the Tattler. She worked at the Whiting Paper Mill and Point Bakery. There she met the love of her life Richard Kubisiak. It was love with their first "Hello". They were married on July 26, 1946.

Life was hard after the War, housing was scares, no washing machines, dryers  and refrigerators. Together they raised seven children. In her 50's with her family grown, she went back to her art. Taking up oil painting. Her pictures being displayed by her family, Ruth Gilfrey building and at local restaurants. She won many awards, taking  1 st , 2 nd and 3 places at many art exhibits.

She loved family trips, picnics and events. She supported her family in everything, loved their accomplishments and was proud of all of them. She also loved fishing, gardening, telling stories and shopping for gifts for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She remembered all their birthdays and never forgot anyone.

Survivors include her children, Carol (Joe) Wanta, Gordon (Janet) Kubisiak, Cindy (Ronald) Suchowski and Lee (Amy) Kubisiak. Sister, Mary Jane "Dolly" Pudroski.

Also survived by 20 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard. Brother, Jerome Morey. Daughters, Celeste Seefelt, Cheryl Schiefelbein and Charlotte Kosloski. Great-Granddaughter, Alexis Soba. Son-in-law, Gerald Hoena.

The family wants to thank all of the care givers from Point Manor and Willow Brooke.

Funeral Services for Madeline will be held on Wednesday July 7, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Pisarski Funeral Home 703 Second Street Stevens Point. Deacon Vern Linzmeier  will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery. Visitation on Wednesday  from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral Home. Pisarski Funeral Homes are honored to be serving the family.
