Marcia Fletcher

Marcia L. Fletcher, age 92, of the Town of Buena Vista, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Thursday April 28, 2022 at her Home.

She was born Jan. 31, 1930 in Stevens Point.  She is the daughter of the late Harold & Adelia (Ferguson) Hilmer.

She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1947.   Her marriage to Maurice D. Fletcher took place on May 21, 1949 at Plover Methodist Church.  Maurice died Nov. 5, 2006.

Marcia is a member of Buena Vista United Methodist Church, former Lioness of Plover-Whiting Lions Club, was a part of various Church Committees, was a Church Pianist for many years and bookkeeper for Fletcher Farms Inc. until 2005.

She is survived by her two daughters: Karen (Tom) Jones of Plover and Janice Beebout of Stevens Point.

Two grandsons; Pete Jones & Geoff Beebout. Three granddaughters; Jami (Brian) Strnad, Nikki (Mike) Marvin & Jenny (Kevin) Janowski.

Five great grandchildren; Lakoda Beebout, Cheyenna (Sean) Sorenson, Sawyer Henry, Bradlee Marvin & Zakary Strnad.   One great great grandson Zeke Sorenson.

One brother; Don Hilmer and two sisters-in-law; Judie Fletcher and LaVon Fletcher.

Preceded in death by her husband Maurice, two sons; Gary and Brian Fletcher, son-in-law; Warren Beebout, siblings; Lucille Cesare, Max Hilmer & Richard Hilmer,  four brothers-in-law; Randall, Marvin & Norman Fletcher & Henry Cesare, three sisters-in-law; Myrtle Fletcher, Ethel & Phyllis Hilmer.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM  on Tuesday May 10, 2022 at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home at 2911 Plover Road in Plover. Pastor Kari Riley will officiate.  Burial will take place in Liberty Corners cemetery.  Visitation for family and friends will be from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.   Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
