Margaret A. Thiele, beloved wife, mom, grandma, and great grandma passed gently into God's loving arms at home on May 28, 2022, surrounded by her loving family after losing a long battle with cancer.
Margaret was born on March 29, 1942 to the late Bartholmew (Bert) Trzebiatowski, II and Amelia (Brychell) Trzebiatowski.
Margaret enjoyed many things in her lifetime from her bowling leagues, painting, knitting/crocheting, and making wedding cakes for her family, especially for her many nieces and nephews. After her retirement from nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Margaret enjoyed traveling domestically and internationally, spending her winters in the southern states and camping in Wisconsin parks. In recent years, Margaret enjoyed working on her many award-winning quilts, square dancing and going to elementary schools to read to the little ones. She belonged to the Happy Homemakers of Almond, WI. Most of all, Margaret loved her family and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Margaret will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Her joy of living and her sense of humor helped her deal with her battle with cancer.
Margaret married Leon Kubowski on January 26, 1963 at Saint Patrick's Catholic Church of Lanark. They lived in Stevens Point, moving shortly after to Racine and Franksville, WI. In 1978 they moved back to Stevens Point. They raised four children preceding his death. In 1986 she married Loren Thiele and settled in Plover, WI. Loren preceded her in death. Square dancing led to Margaret meeting and marrying her final life partner Richard Hoffman in 2018.
Margaret is survived by her husband Richard Hoffman; her children, Jeffrey (Karen) Kubowski, West Bend, WI, Andrew (Jean) Kubowski, Lori (Daniel) Rucinski, and Paul (Tami) Kubowski, all of Stevens Point; her grandchildren, Robert (Dawn) Kubowski, West Bend, WI, Zachary (Mara) Kubowski, San Diego, CA, Jacob (Taylor) Omernik, Matthew Omernik, Rachael Omernik, Jennifer Kubowski, and Francis (Frank) Kubowski, all of Stevens Point; great grandchildren, Xavier, Aiden, Opal, Ruby, Koleson and Jasper; her sister Marie (William) Torzewski, Pewaukee, WI; her two brothers Gregory (Magdaline) Trzebiatowski, Chili, and George (Dianne) Trzebiatowski, Almond, WI; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her brother-in-law Charles Abrahamson; her sister Elizabeth (Betty) Abrahamson; her brother Bartholmew (Bert) Trzebiatowski III; and her sister-in-law Helen Trzebiatowski.
