Marian D. Schultz
Of Stevens Point passed away early Friday morning August 19, 2022 at Northcrest Assisted Living while under the care of Heartland Hospice.
Age 83 Marian was born November 10, 1938 in Rosholt. She was the daughter of the late Leo and Esther (Wroblewski) Kaminski. She attended local grade schools, graduating from Rosholt High School.
Her marriage to James "Jim" Schultz took place on July 30, 1960 at St. Adalbert Catholic Church. After their marriage the couple settled in Milwaukee, moving back to Stevens Point in 1967. Her husband Jim preceded her in death on June 9, 2009.
Marian was a devoted mother who stayed home and took care of her family. In her free time Marian enjoyed trying her luck at the Casino, going to Loon Days in Mercer and making Christmas wreaths with her sisters. Her precious time was being with family, babysitting the grandchildren and her strong faith, especially the Virgin Mary.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in her name at a later date.
Survivors include her children; Randy (Crystal) Schultz, Sandy (David) Feltz and James (Dawn) Shultz all of Stevens Point and Tania (Kelly) LeFevre of Green Bay. Eleven grandchildren; Haven, MacKenzie, Olivia, Nathan, Jacob, Erik, Paige, Samantha, Joshua, Raelynn and Alexandria, and five great grandchildren.
Further survived by her three sisters; Alice Rekowski of Rosholt, Ceil (John) Konkol of Amherst and Leona (Earl) Drefcinski of Stevens Point, and four brothers Felix Kaminski of Rosholt, Benny (Geraldine) Kaminski of Polonia, Leonard Kaminski of Wausau and Mike Kaminski of Rosholt.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jim, and 5 siblings.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday August 24, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Torun. Rev. Thomas Nirappel officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the Pisarski Funeral Home of Stevens Point. There will be a parish Rosary at 6:00 P.M. to conclude the visitation. There will be no visitation Wednesday morning, family and friends are asked to meet at church for the mass only. The Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
