Mary A. Shamrowicz

Mary A. Shamrowicz, 76, of Stevens Point, died Thursday August 29, 2024 at the Portage County Health Care Center. Mary was born on September 9, 1947 in Stevens Point.  She was the daughter of the late Edward and Loretta (Glodowski). She attended local schools.

Mary worked for AT&T Of Appleton for 20 years.

Mary loved her family. She had a caring extended family and loved her home town of Polonia. Mary also enjoyed shopping trips.

Survivors include her siblings, Victoria (David) Hoerchler of WI. Rapids, Ed (Letty) and John both of Polonia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Barbara and Cynthia.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday September 4, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Polonia. Rev. Mark Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the church. Pisarski Funeral Homes are honored to be serving the family.
