Maxine Peterson

Maxine M. Peterson, age 81, of Stevens Point, passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 13, 2022 at the Marshfield Medical Center with her loving family at her side.

Maxine was born April 28, 1941 in Marshfield, WI.  She is the daughter of the late Oscar and Delma (Weber) Ewert.

Her marriage to Neil Peterson took place on June 4, 1960 in Mauston, WI.

Maxine enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, puzzles, sewing, watching TV, playing cribbage, camping and spending time with family.

Survivors include her husband Neil, daughter Vicki (Roger) Binkowski, one daughter-in-law; Deb Peterson, six grandchildren; Amanda (Matt) Glover, Samantha (Chris) Lefebvre, Nichole (Ryan) Brewer, Melinda (Travis) Nix, Jonathan (Heather) Peterson and Kasandra (David) Tessman.  Eleven great grandchildren, four sisters; Beverly Curtin, Marion Krane, Shirley Bruesewitz and Diane Bauer.  One brother-in-law; Alan (Dianne) Peterson.

She is preceded in death by her son; Tom Peterson, two brothers;  Robert and Dennis Ewert and many brothers and sisters-in-law.

The family would like to thank the Marshfield Medical Center Team and Palliative Care for all their wonderful loving care of Maxine.

A celebration of life for Maxine will be held on Sunday Sept. 18, 2022 from 12:00 Noon until 4:00 PM at Backyard Grill, 6805 WI 66 in Custer, WI.  Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
