Michael E Gebert

Age 66 of Rudolph, WI died Thursday September 9 ^th at his home.

Mike was born May 10, 1955 in Stevens Point and was the son of Sylvanis and Estelle (Richter) Gebert.

Mike married Betsy Heimlich in 1982 and later divorced. In 1982 they had a son Michael D Gebert.

Mike worked as a journeyman plumber and pipefitter for Local 434 for over 30 years. He was proud to be part of the Union and liked voicing his opinions.

He enjoyed NASCAR and was very fond of his motorcycles, a Harley and an Indian Motorcycle.  When he was not working or riding, he could be found playing pool at the local taverns or enjoying the river.

In recent years, he was a very proud grandfather and enjoyed cheering for his granddaughters at sporting events.

Survivors include his son Michael D (Ashton) Gebert, two granddaughters Ellyn and Callie Gebert, a sister Georgia Lutz, a brother Steve Gebert and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Sylvanis "Peak" and Estelle Gebert and his friend John "Hook" Lee.

A visitation for family and friends to gather will take place on Thursday September 16 ^th 2021 from 4 to 7 PM at the Pisarski Funeral Home at 703 Second St. in Stevens Point.
