Michael J. Sankey, Jr.

Michael J. Sankey, Jr., age 58, of Plover, died Sunday, January 16, 2022 at the Marshfield Medical Center.

He was born on August 23, 1963 in Elgin, IL., a son of Michael and Leslie (Walsh) Sankey, Sr..

At birth, Michael was diagnosed with Spina Bifida but, it never stopped him from enjoying life.  His attitude was to always be happy.  Michael loved being around people, the summer warmth, campfires, and his stuffed animals especially the "Glo-Worms".   He would light-up when someone would bring their dog by for him to pet.

Michael is survived by; two brothers, Brian Sankey and Logan (Elizabeth) Sankey; Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by; his parents and grandparents; along with aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 2911 Plover Rd, Plover at 11:00AM on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.  Burial will be at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Fancher Parish Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation at the Funeral Home from 9:30AM until the time of the service on Wednesday.
