Mildred E. Rybarczyk, age 88, of Stevens Point, died Tuesday December 13, 2022, at her home with her children at her side. Mildred was under the care of Compassus Hospice. She was born on May 15, 1934, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Harold and Hazel (Brown) Pflugradt. She attended local schools. Mildred was united in marriage to Leonard Rybarczyk on July 26, 1952 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Stevens Point.
Mildred was employed as a Nurses Aid at St. Joseph Convent and the Portage County Health Care Center. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She enjoyed Cooking/Baking, watching the Bucks and Brewers, doing Jig-Saw puzzles, shopping, taking care of her garden and caring for her flowers, following all of her grandchildren activities, playing with her fuzzy feline, Nala but, just being with family was her greatest joy.
She is survived by her three sons, Rick (special friend Denise) Rybarczyk, Randal (special friend Faith) Rybarczyk, and Timothy (special friend Cherie) Rybarczyk, and her three daughters, Bonita (Kevin) Ponto, Diana (Jeff) Sager, and Brenda (Rick) Bella; eleven grandchildren, Jennifer Kaminski, Chad Kaminski, Carly (Ryan) Sager Dallmon, Carrie (Ryan) Kastanek, Crystal (Jeff) Blaes, Rebecca (Carl) Kluck , Cory Rybarczyk, Jason (Tonya Thompson) Rozak, Justin Berry, Dylan Suchocki, and Austin Rybarczyk; eleven great-grandchildren, Kendra, Chloe, Lincoln, Ruby, Penny, Zachery, Devon, Kaylee, Harper, Carter, and Bentley; sisters-in-law, Lois Pflugradt and Delores (Valarien) Glodowski; brother-in-law, Jim (Kathy) Rybarczyk; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard, in December 2020; her parents; grandson Ryan Kaminski; brother George Pflugradt; sister, Virginia Richtmyre; daughter in-law Karen Rybarczyk; and five step-siblings.
Mildred's family would like to thank Alex and Mary from Compassus Hospice and Peggy and Jessica with Home Instead for the care, compassion, love and understanding that they freely gave to our mother.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00a.m. on Saturday December 17, 2022, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 800 4 th Ave., Stevens Point, WI 54481. Rev. Arul Joseph Visuvasam will officiate. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 a.m. until Mass time in the St. Faustina Room of St. Peter Church.
