Morris M. Piotrowski, 89, of Stevens Point, passed away at home on Saturday March 1, 2025. Morris was born on March 13, 1935, in Stevens Point. He was the son of the late Michael and Louise (Windorf) Piotrowski. He attended local schools.
Morris served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged.
His marriage to Irene Feltz took place on November 14, 1955, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point. His wife Irene survives. Morris worked for Consolidated Papers for a number of years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Plover American Legion Post 543.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, camping and sporting events.
Survivors include his children, Linda (Ernie) Wanta of Stevens Point, Sandra (Terry) Gross of Plover, Jean (Joe) Osowski of Plover, Joan (Jerry) Rucinski of Wisconsin Rapids, Judy (Mike) Grawey of Stevens Point and James (Tanya) Piotrowski of Stevens Point.
Also survived by one brother, Kenneth (Toma) Piotrowski of Stevens Point, one sister, Darlene Yundt of Hartland and 13 Grandchildren, 20 Great-Grandchildren and 1, Great-Great-Granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his brother Michael (Pat) and son-in-law, Gary Gross.
In Lieu of flowers memorials in Morris's name will be established at a later date.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Morris will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday March 11, 2025, at St. Peter Catholic Church-800 Fourth Ave. Stevens Point. Rev. John Potaczek will officiate.
Full military honors will follow the service. Visitation on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service in the St. Faustina room at the church.
