Nadine L. Churkey

Nadine L. Churkey, 86 of Stevens Point passed away on November 16, 2024 at River View Lodge with family by her side.
Nadine was born on July 1, 1938, the daughter of Ray and Eleanor (Wood) Purgett, Owen, WI.

She worked at Clark County Health Care Canter for 16 years in various positions.  She enjoyed collecting cow memorabilia.

Nadine is survived by her children, Diane (Dean) Gaede, Duane (Karen) Churkey, Glen (Lisa Singleton) Churkey, Ken Churkey, Harvey (Caren) Churkey; brother, Mike (Roxane) Purgett, sister-in-law Roxanne Purgett; 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild; expecting 1 more great grandchild, and 1 more great, great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her parents; children, Donald Ray and 2 infants; brothers Norman, Maynard and Wayne Purgett, and daughter- in-law Ruth Churkey.

Service will be held at the Stevens Point Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1510 Sherman Avenue, Stevens Point, WI on Tuesday, November 26 at 11:00 a.m.  Visitation at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.  Burial at 3:00 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery, Withee, WI.
