Neva M. (Mae) Schweers

Of Stevens Point died late Sunday evening, March 7, 2021 at Whispering Pines Assisted Living Center with her family at her side

Age 92 Neva was born February 11, 1929 in Tilleda, WI. She was the daughter of the late Alvin and Eva (Maas) Zastrow. She attended local schools in Shawano, WI.

Her marriage to Robert D. Schweers took place on June 25, 1950. Her husband Robert preceded her in death on January 1, 1997.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Portage County K 9 unit would be appreciated.

Neva enjoyed boating and camping with her family, attending antique engine shows and high school basketball games.

Survivors include her children; Tim (Lori) Schweers and Kurt (Denise) Schweers both of Stevens Point, and Roberta Schweers of King City, CA. Her grandchildren; Heidi (Lorin) Lau, Randy Schweers, Valerie Schweers, Kristopher (Ariel) Schweers, Tyler Schweers and A.J. (Jessica) Napiwocki, and her great grandchildren Josh, Brent, Olivia, Ana, Serenity, Briar, Felix, Carter, Reed and Kelsey.

Private family services were held at the Pisarski Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Susan Gilbert Zencka officiating. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano, WI.
