Norbert F. Simcakoski

Norbert F. Simcakoski, 81, of Stevens Point, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 with family by his side after a long battle with cancer.

Norbert was born on October 9, 1941 to the late Bernard and Esther (Hojnacki) Simcakoski. He graduated from PJ Jacobs High School in 1955. He married Josephine Konkol on October 3, 1964 at St. Mary's Mount Carmel Fancher, Amherst WI.

Norbert worked at Worzella Publishing for 25 years and then Whiting Paper Mill until retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Josephine of 58 years. His four children Dawn (Chuck) Kastello, Brian (Friend Julie), Jodi, and Jenny (Friend Tom). He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Donald (Carol), Carol Feltz, Maryann (Ken) Charnecke, Pat (Nubbs) Tepp, Marlene Duda (Dave), and Marvin (Linda). Grandchildren Nicole (Lucas) Husnick, Connor Kastello, and Tyler Furo.  Great grandchildren Lyla and Sawyer.

Proceeded in death by his parents and son Curt.

Norbert enjoyed wood working, fishing, hunting, gardening, going to the casino and spending time with his family.

A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held for Norbert at St. Bronislava on March 7, 2023 at 11 am with visitation from 9 am until mass.
