Patricia Nordlund

Patricia A. Nordlund,  85 passed away peacefully on February 2, 2021 at The Stevens Point Healthcare Center in Stevens Point, WI.

Pat was born August 3, 1935 in Stevens Point,  WI and was the last remaining daughter of Harry and Anna Ossowski.

Pat graduated from St. Joseph Academy in 1953. She then went on to marry Leonard J Nordlund May 22, 1954 at St. Peter's church. Together they resided in Stevens Point and had 2 children Jay J. Nordlund and Jena M. Smith.

She also worked for Sentry Insurance company spending many years there in their various locations. She especially liked working at the world headquarters building and used many of the employee amenities. She retired in 1996 as an Employee Claims Analyst.

After retiring, she enjoyed traveling, volunteering at St. Michael's hospital, walking and driving to visit her daughter in Chicago Illinois.

Survivors include her daughter Jena M. Smith (John), her son Jay J. Nordlund (Diana) and her Granddog Madison.

Thank you to Stevens Point Health care center and Lisa Potter at Heartland hospice for treating mom with care and respect.

Special thanks to co-guardian Ann Klosinski. Through the years, she has proven to be invaluable and has worked tirelessly making sure mom received the very best of everything.

Funeral Services for Patricia will be at 12:00 PM on Monday February 8, 2021 at the Pisarski Funeral Home at 703 Second St. in Stevens Point. Deacon Ray Heitzinger will officiate. Burial will take place in the Guardian Angel cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:30 AM until the time of services Monday morning at the funeral home. Masks will be required. Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
