Patricia Ann Kopacz Zawislak, age 84, of Plover, Wisconsin died Friday, February 23, 2024. For eight years she lived at "The Lodge" in Plover, with her last week spent at Memory Care at Whispering Pines.
She was born in Tennessee, on August 27, 1939. She lived all of her life in Arkansas, except for her last eight years.
Patricia was the daughter of James (Jake) A. Kopacz and Ann (Annie) Martha Koscielny Kopacz. She married Joseph H. Zawislak October 29, 1960.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a younger brother, James (Jimmy) P. Kopacz who died in 1951.
She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Kopacz Williams and her brother-in-law, Dr. Richard S. Williams, Plover, Wisconsin and cherished friends and relatives.
Funeral and Memorial arrangements are pending, both in Plover and in Marche, Arkansas.
For the eight years she spent in Plover, she enjoyed living at The Lodge Assisted Living where she enjoyed, music, bingo, rosary and church services, not necessarily in that order. Mostly she loved the people in her community at The Lodge. The residents and the staff were her friends and extended family. That family broadened when she moved to Memory Care. She would want everyone to know how much she loved you all.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking you take a moment to remember Patricia, and in so doing, perform an act of kindness. That is Patricia's legacy, as she was the kindest, strongest person to grace our lives.
A Funeral Mass for Patricia will be held at 1:30p.m. on Monday March 18, 2024, at The Lodge with ice cream gathering to follow the mass.
Pisarski Funeral Homes are honored to be serving the family.
