Paul D. Landowski, age 90, of Stevens Point, WI passed away Sunday November 7, 2021 at his home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 am on Friday November 12, 2021 at Saint Peter's Catholic Church, Stevens Point, WI. Visitation will be in the St. Faustina room at St. Peter Church from 9-10:30am. Paul was born October 2, 1931 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin to Vincent and Frances (Jakusz) Landowski. He married Madeline Golla on July 20, 1957 at Saint Peter's Catholic Church in Stevens Point, WI. Paul was employed by the Soo Line Railroad for 33 years before retiring.

Paul served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War between August 22, 1950 until June 22, 1954 aboard the U.S.S. Purdy. He received several notable accolades and metals for his outstanding conduct in the service.

Paul was an avid builder that kept himself busy constructing masterful projects and raised talented sons to be creative builders just as he was. He built the homestead for his wife and family. This home endured many renovations and a backyard where there were fish ponds, bird houses and a serene area where deer dwelled. He enjoyed this view with his morning black coffee, a tradition he acquired in his years in the Navy. If he was not building sheds and other fun projects for himself; he was painting statues and cut out designs for family. He was a stellar painter and his painting skills were boundless. His skillful craftmanship of taking an image the size of a postage stamp and replicating it perfectly to the size of a small mural was extraordinary. The creative gene he had was shared with his family. Many of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren also pursued creative artists as professions or playful hobbies. He loved to spoil his dogs with treats and toys. Paul had a boisterous laugh that was unapologetically loud, infectious and could be heard from great distance. He displayed his love for his wife, Madeline, with cards and flowers, never missing an anniversary.

Paul is survived by his wife, Madeline (Golla) Landowski and five children Gerald (Linda) Landowski of Custer, WI, Thomas (Krissy Heins) Landowski of Stevens Point, WI, Terrence (Louise) Landowski of Plover, WI, Randall (Diane) Landowski of Custer, WI and Kevin Landowski of Stevens Point, WI; 8 grandchildren, Kristin (BC Brazeau) Landowski of Oakland, CA, Serena (Dave) Hayes of Stevens Point, WI, Sherri (Tim) Cisewski of Custer, WI, Ben Landowski of Stevens Point, WI, Hilary Landowski of Plover, WI, Tara Landowski of Stevens Point, WI, Valerie Landowski of Plover, WI, Vincent Landowski of Plover, WI; and 5 great grandchildren: Michael Cisewski, Lucas Cisewski, Lillian Cisewski, Eva Cisewski and Oscar Hayes.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents Vincent and Frances (Jakusz) Landowski.
