On January 30th Peggy Fisher, age 95 passed away. Daughter of Vivian and Claude Patton and sister to Rose and Jim. Peggy grew up in Mason City, Iowa and as a teenager worked in the local movie theater where she met her future husband, Jerry Fisher (and made sure he got free refills of his popcorn).
Peggy and Jerry were married for many years and upon his passing she relocated to the Stevens Point area where she enjoyed independent living for the last 13 years of her life. She was an avid reader and could often be found at the Charles White Library. During that time she also was a regular exercise participant at Planet Fitness. However, she most enjoyed time with her Daughter In Law, Liz delivering Meals On Wheels (she was amused by the fact that she was delivering meals to the "elderly").
Peggy is survived by her three children, Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Fulton), Doug Fisher (Debbie) and Vickie "Fisher" Avery (Christopher). seven Grandchildren, and thirteen Great Grandchildren.
Peggy will be buried at Forest cemetery next to her husband, both in sight of our local movie theater.
At some point this spring, family will gather at the gravesite. In lieu of flowers, Peggy would have appreciated a donation to the local Meals on Wheels program.
Pisarski Funeral Homes are honored to be serving the family.
