Philip M. Pezewski

Philip M. Pezewski, of Stevens Point, passed away on May 29, 2023, at his home surrounded by family at the age of 85.

Philip was born August 23, 1937, in the Town of Sharon, son of the late Joseph and Selma (Shulfer) Pezewski. He attended local schools and PJ Jacobs High school in Stevens Point.

After high school he worked at various local paper mills, until retirement. Philip and Joyce enjoyed traveling together.

Philip married the love of his life, Joyce E. Hintz on October 26, 1957, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Torun and raised four children.

Philip had a great love for fishing, hunting, spending time up north camping, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Philip loved country music and spending time with his favorite dog, Teddy.

Philip is lovingly survived by his wife, Joyce and his children, Michael (Kathy) Pezewski, Tammy (Bernie) Devine, Barb (Gary) Landowski: ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and sister, Bernice Pflugradt.

Philip was preceded in death by four siblings and a son, Jeffery Pezewski.

A celebration of life will be determined at a later date. Pisarski Funeral Homes are honored to be serving the family.
