Phillip James Lodzinski, 69, of Stevens Point passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025. He was born on September 23, 1955, to Melvin "Mickey" and Joan (Thimke) Lodzinski.
Phil graduated from SPASH in 1973 and went on to work at several local businesses as a welder. Eventually, he became co-owner and operator of Mickey's Restaurant in Stevens Point serving the community with some of the best steaks and Italian cuisine, especially the pizza.
Enjoyment of outdoor activities and producing a bountiful garden were some of his greatest pleasures. He was generous in sharing his garden harvest and recipes with others. He also collected and tinkered with restoring vintage pedal cars.
Phil is survived by his children; Robin (Ruairi) Matthews and Andrew (Crystal) Lodzinski, one granddaughter Isabella, his siblings; Jeanne Chase, Tom Lodzinski, and Robert (Joni) Lodzinski, and five nieces and nephews. Phil was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Dr. Mathew Chase.
