Randall "Randy" Goretski, age 56, of Stevens Point, passed away peacefully in the afternoon of June 2, 2024, at home, surrounded by loved ones. Randy was born on October 19, 1967, in Stevens Point, WI, to the late Eugene and Bonnie (Adamski) Goretski.
Growing up, Randy had many friends with whom he shared countless memorable moments. Known for his fun-loving spirit, he graduated from SPASH in 1986. On August 10th, 1996, Randy married the love of his life, Chris (Zificsak) Goretski, and they celebrated nearly 28 wonderful years together.
Randy dedicated 30 years to his career in the beer industry, beginning with Johnson's Distributing and later with Lee Beverage. Beyond his professional life, he had a passion for camping, ATV riding, and lending a helping hand to those in need. Randy treasured spending time with friends and family, especially as a grandfather. His grandchildren, Major, Ma'Kye, and Ma'Kendrick, held a special place in his heart, and he created many cherished memories with them.
An active member of the Knights of Columbus, Randy was a true jack of all trades and a master tinkerer. If there was a will, there was a way with Randy. He was always there for others, demonstrating his kindness and reliability.
Randy is survived by his beloved wife Chris, his children Nathan, Nick, and Dani and his adored grandchildren Major, Ma'Kye, and Ma'Kendrick. He is also survived by his sister Dawn (Manuel Jr.) Harn, his nieces and nephews, and many friends who appreciated his warmth and generosity. Randy was predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Bonnie Goretski and his brother Jerry Goretski.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Randy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday June 11, 2024, at St. Peter Catholic Church 800 Fourth Ave. Stevens Point. Rev. Todd Mlsna will officiate. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation on Monday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a parish rosary concluding the visitation at the Pisarski Funeral Home 703 Second Street Stevens Point and again on Tuesday 10:00 a.m. until time of service in the St. Faustian room at the church.
