Regina Trzebiatowski

Regina Trzebiatowski, 104 Rosholt died Monday November 8, 2021, under the care of Whispering Pines and Heartland Hospice services. Regina was born August 10, 1917, in the town of Alban, daughter of the late John and Alexandra(Kieruczenko) Gilmeister.  She graduated from Rosholt High School in 1935. On April 18th, 1942, she married Henry Trzebiatowski Sr.at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Rosholt .

Henry preceded her in death on April 4th, 1990 after a long battle with M.S. She cared for her loving husband at home until he died.

Regina took care of  the home and the books, and helped her husband with the farming. She enjoyed baking and always had to make sure she had something baked to treat her many children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren when they visited. She especially loved  family get togethers watching her grandchildren having fun, like Easter Egg hunts and  opening Christmas presents. She was always about everyone getting along and being together. A peacemaker indeed.. She also enjoyed canning, especially pickles, baking bread and gardening. It was her special time.

Survivors include her 5 children, Rose (Tom) Kampschroer, Wausau, Gerald (Barb) Trzebiatowski, Rosholt,  Donald Trzebiatowski, Wausau, Mike Trzebiatowski, Rosholt, and Eugene( Marian)Trzebiatowski, Stevens Point.

16 grandchildren, Kim(Duane) Rzentkowski, Brian(Bonnie) Trzebiatowski, Jennifer(Scott) Insteness, Dan (Monica) Kampschroer, Michael Kampschroer, Joe(Tammy) Trzebiatowski,  Julie(Scott) Nelson, Tim(Jolene) Trzebiatowski, Tina(Jeremy)Mills, Laura(Johnny) Bablitch,  Katie(Chad ) Will, Ryan Trzebiatowski, Susie(Mike) Schlichting, Jon Trzebiatowski, Carly (Gage Meyer) Dickmann, and Autumn Trzebiatowski.

24 great-grandchildren, Ryan, Adam and Brandon Rzentkowski, Jacob and Joshua Trzebiatowski, Ava and Julia Insteness, Caitlin, Emma, Joseph, Maria, and Ana Kampschroer, Jenna, Sidney, and Isabel Trzebiatowski, Andrew and Rachel Nelson, Sam and Nicholas Trzebiatowski, Sophia and Evelyn Bablitch, Henry Mills, Zara and Roslyn Will.

She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Marlene (Henry Jr.) Trzebiatowski, Rosholt two sisters Ann Trzebiatowski, Rosholt and Agnes Filtz, Galloway, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Henry Jr. Trzebiatowski and her daughter- in-law

Linda(Mike) Trzebiatowski plus many of her 12 sisters and brother and their wives.

Regina was a lifelong member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church. She was a long-standing member of the Rosary Society and the American Legion Auxiliary. Her daily activity was to pray especially in her prayer corner which was filled with worn out prayer cards , books and rosaries.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Regina will be held at 11:00 a.m. on  Friday November 12, 2021,     at St. Adalbert Catholic Church 3315 St. Adalberts Road, Rosholt. Rev. Thomas Nirappel will officiate. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
