Rennette "Renee" A. Konkol
Of Stevens Point passed away Monday morning, January 31, 2022 at North Ridge Assisted Living under the care of St. Croix Hospice.
Renee was born December 7, 1943 in Stevens Point to the late Richard and Caroline (Dykas) Goetz, as she was the youngest of two children. She attended local grade schools and graduated from Maria High School in 1961.
On May 22, 1965 she married LeRoy L. Konkol at St. Peter's Catholic Church. After their marriage the couple settled in Stevens Point. They were married for 37 years until LeRoy's passing on September 18, 2002.
Renee worked at Joern's Furniture for a few years before becoming a homemaker and raising her family. She was a member of St. Stanislaus (now Holy Spirit Parish) and a member of the Women of the Moose Stevens Point Lodge 1572.
She enjoyed playing Bingo, going to the casino, watching the Green Bay Packers, going shopping, watching soap operas and the Game Show Network.
She is survived by her daughter Kelly (Chad) Molski, one son Kyle (Kristie) Konkol, her four grandchildren; Brennan and Alexandra Molski and Benjamin and JJ Konkol. Further survived by brother-in-law and sister-in-law John and Sharon Pionkowski and sister-in-law Marion Goetz along with many nieces and a nephew.
Renee was preceded in death by her parents, husband LeRoy, son Keith Konkol, brother Rodger Goetz, father and mother-in-law Rudy and Rita Konkol and brother-in-law Duane Konkol and two nieces.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 4, 2022 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Rev Steve Brice officiating. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. Friday morning at the Holy Spirit Ministry Center until the time for mass. The Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family. The family would like to thank North Ridge Assisted Living for their compassion and care for the past 18 months given to Renee. They would also like to thank Fr. Steve Brice (Holy Spirit Parish) and Fr. Eric Mashak (St. Bronislava Catholic Church) for their prayers and blessings during Renee's final days.
