Richard P. Makuski, Iii

Richard "Rick" Makuski, III, age 44, of Stevens Point, died at his residence, on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.  He was born on September 9, 1977 in Stevens Point, the son of Richard P. Jr. and Mary (Hedrington) Makuski. He attended Stevens Point schools and graduated from SPASH in 1994.  Rick was married to Brandi Pettit and of this union they had two sons, Bradley and Richard.  The couple later divorced.  In 1999, Rick enlisted in the United States Army, serving our country proudly during the War on Terror in Iraq. Richards military career spanned for 12 years being honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant.  Upon his discharge, he held several jobs in the Stevens Point area. He enjoyed online gaming, playing billiards, spending time with friends and his family.

Richard is survived by; his sons, Bradley and Richard, IV Makuski of Stevens Point; his mother, Mary of Stevens Point; sister, Cindy Makuski of Stevens Point; Niece and Nephew, Hailey and Lucus; Aunts, Uncles, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Rick was preceded in death by; his father Richard, Jr. in 2015.

A Celebration of Richard's life will be held at Mak's Bar, 1236 County Road HH, Stevens Point on Saturday, November 27, 2021 beginning at 2:00PM. Following Richards wishes, Private Family Burial will take place at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI. The Pisarski Funeral Homes are honored to be serving the family.
