Robert "Bob" A. Reno

Bob Reno, Plover, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Aug 13 2023.

Bob was born in Escanaba, Michigan on August 4, 1947. His family moved to Stevens Point in July of 1963. He graduated P.J. Jacobs High School in 1964. He then enlisted in the U.S Air force fall of 1964 and was stationed in Ubon, Thailand. Returning home in 1968, he worked for Montgomery Ward on Main Street in Stevens Point, were he met his bride of 51 years Donna "Nachman" Reno. They were married on Sept 25 1971. He then worked at Shopko as the receiving Manager for 23 years, and finally at Unifirst as a route Supervisor until his retirement in 2013.

Bob had a "Tell it Like it is" personality and a high work ethic. The best way to describe Bob is like a roasted marshmallow: crusty on the outside and soft and gooey on the inside; especially with his family, friends and his kitty Bella.
Bob enjoyed  Fishing, Cooking, Gardening, Playing Cards, watching the Weather Channel and Wheel of Fortune, and visiting the Casinos here and in Nevada.

He is survived by his wife Donna Reno, Plover. Daughters Dawn Reno, Appleton, and Sonya "Nigel" Reno-Francois, Plover. Grandchildren Brandon Sevcik, Annamaria "Josué" Garcia, and Jayson Sevcik; all of Stevens Point. Great-Granddaughter Isabel, Brother Dennis Reno, Chippewa Falls,  Sisters  Sheryl " Pat" Nugent, Stevens Point, Debbie Labandz, Amherst Junction, and Becky  "Jeff"  Kropidlowski, Pulaski; along with many beloved nieces and nephews.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents Mary Alice and George Arntson, sister Carol Osterman, and brother-in-law Richard Labandz

The family would like to express their deepest  appreciation for the exceptional care given by Shawn, RN, and Lesley of Aspirus Hospice Care, Dr. Kay Rinehart, Dr. Ravindra Hanumaiah, and the entire team that cared for Bob.
