Robert "Bob" Zoromski
Of the Town of Sharon, Custer, WI passed away Sunday afternoon, April 10, 2022 at Aspirus St. Michaels Hospital with his loving family at his side.
Age 78 Bob was born December 10, 1943 in Stevens Point. He was the son of the late Roman and Angeline (Blaszkiewicz) Zoromski. He attended local grade schools and graduated from P.J Jacobs High School in 1962.
His marriage to Germaine Groholski took place on October 31, 1964 at St. Mary's of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher. After their marriage the couple settled in the Custer area, and have lived there the past 60 years. Bob worked as a mason for Bill Richter for a number of years, and also Worzalla Publishing before purchasing his farm in 1972 where he enjoyed farming until his retirement in July of 2019.
Bob in his younger years enjoyed shooting pool, bowling and was a talented baseball player. He also enjoyed making Maple Syrup, restored an old tractor and loved riding his ATV and visiting his neighbors on it.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in his name will be established at a later date.
Survivors include his wife Germaine, their four children; Jim (Brenda) Zoromski of Custer, Jody (Jorja) Zoromski of Iola, Joan (Dave) Greeb of Neosho, WI., and Jane Pliska of Custer, their grandchildren Zena (Justin) Kolbus, Jamie (Brandon) Budsberg, Chelsie Zoromski, Josh Dahms, Jacob Dahms, Jessica Zoromski, Justin Zoromski, Joseph, Benjamin, Sophia and Gracie Greeb, and Roman and Nic Pliska, and their great grandchildren Kasen, Willow, Piper, Evelyn and Kenzie.
Further survived by one Brother Gerald Zoromski of Custer and two sisters; Elaine Check of Custer and Betty (Joe) Wortel of IL
He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Cindy Zoromski, son-in-law Jeff Pliska, one brother Don Zoromski and a brother-in-law Joe Check.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia. Rev. Mark Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. Tuesday morning at the church until the time for mass. The Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
