Ronald Harry Worzalla

Of Stevens Point, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather, Ronald Harry Worzalla.

Ron was born September 18, 1939  to  Mike and Rose (Drewa) Worzalla and was welcomed into heaven on August 8, 2022. Ron passed at Aspirus Riverview Hospital surrounded by his wife Barbara, who was the love of his life, and his children; Sandra, Cliff, Sharon and Benjamin, his daughter in law Dorothy and his son in law Daniel.

He was a loving husband, father and grandpa and  good friend to all. He was a terrific farmer, building up his award-winning farm, Riverbend Farm, throughout the years to be the best farm in Portage County.

He enjoyed fishing and gardening, playing solitaire (with actual cards), and loved spending time with his family. His family and his farm were his pride and joy and his dedication to his work was well known.

Ron is survived by his wife of 52 years Barbara, his daughter Sandra (Dale) Hintz of Amherst, son, Clifford (Dorothy) Worzalla of Aniwa, WI., daughter Sharon (Daniel) Cisewski and son Benjamin Worzalla both of Stevens Point. His grandchildren; Ricky, Abby, Dustin, Quinton, Zachary, Isaiah, Anthony, Krista, Kyle and Skyler.

Further survived by one sister, Rita Brzezinski of Stevens Point and three brothers; Ernest (Shirley) Worzalla of Plover, Morey (Diane) Worzalla of Stevens Point and Roger (Marcy) Worzalla of Custer.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Susan, his son Mark, and two sisters Violet and Judy.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Ron's name will be established at a later date.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Polonia. Rev. Mark Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. Tuesday morning until the time for mass. There will be a Parish Rosary prayed at 10:00 AM Tuesday morning in the church.
