Rozella H. Widmann

Rozella H. Widmann, 91, Chicago passed away on Tuesday, October 13 at Ascension St. Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point.

She was born July 4, 1929 in Stevens Point, daughter of the late Vincent and Sophie (Schultz) Kurzinski. On July 16, 1949 she married Donald Widmann.

The couple lived in Milwaukee, Knowlton, Stevens Point and finally settled in Junction City. Rosie had various jobs through the years including Riverpines TB Sanitarium, Normington Dry Cleaners, and the DuBay Cranberry Marsh. Her and her husband also ran Don and Rosie's Showboat. She enjoyed bowling, polka music, attend school and family sporting events, and have parties with her family and friends on her and Donald's farm.

In her later years, Rosie settled in Dancy, Stevens Point, and finally made her way to Chicago where she spent her final years with her grandson, Brett. While in Chicago, she enjoyed trying new foods, going to cafés, making new friends, and would sometimes go to concerts and museums.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan, Stevens Point; grandson, Brett, Chicago; granddaughter, Brittnie (Justin) Ligenza, Stevens Point; great-grandchildren, Kierra and Savanah Ligenza, Stevens Point; brother, Sylvester (Sharon) Kurzinski, Junction City; sister, Clara (Ed) Wing, Portage; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Randy; sister, Bernice; brother, Bernard; sister, Sophie; brother, Martin; sister, Regina.

A celebration of life will be held in her honor at a later date.
