Ruth H. Lodzinski

Ruth H. Lodzinski, age 99, passed away on Dec. 14, 2020 at the home of her daughter in Irmo, SC.

Ruth was born December 22, 1920 to the late Robert and Nettie (Gilles) Liverseed in Faribault, MN.

Ruth was married to Alvin P. Lodzinski on Feb. 28, 1942 in New Orleans, LA. After their marriage they settled in Stevens Point. Alvin died Aug. 2, 1993.

Ruth worked as a sale clerk for Campbells and Lou Vincent's until finally retiring from Otterlee's Jewelry. Ruth's hobbies included traveling and spending time with her family.

Survivors include he children; James (special friend Nancy), Mary Alm, Jody (Willy) Disher & Susan (Mark) Bembenek.

Eight grandchildren; Jean Paul Lodzinski, Beth, Eric and Brian Alm, Jolene Fink, Jesse Disher, Brett Soik & Shane Bembenek.

Nine great grandchildren; David, Julien, Payton, Colton, Emily, Gus, Aiden, Braxton & Mariah.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Alvin, son Gerald, sister Marion O'Neil, twin brother Jack and Robert & Albert Liverseed.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 AM on Saturday Dec. 19, 2020 at St. Stephens Catholic Church at 1401 Clark St. in Stevens Point. Rev. Jeffrey Hennes will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM on Saturday at the Pisarski Funeral Home at 703 Second St. in Stevens Point. Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
