Sarah T. Strosin

Sarah Strosin age 92 of Stevens Point passed away on Wednesday, March 27th with her daughters by her side. Sarah was born May 15th, 1931 in Tompkinsville Kentucky. She married Joseph Strosin July 12th, 1952 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

They returned to Stevens Point to settle and raise a family of 6 daughters. She worked for Weber tackle and County Market and was a Baker for many years at Blueberry Muffin. She was an avid golfer and bowler and loved to work in her garden.

She is survived by her daughter's Linda Strosin, Patricia (Dale) Hetzel, Karen (Larry) Proulx, Catherine (Daniel) Firkus, Margaret (Rick) Kalpinski, all of Stevens Point and Susan (Jerry) Reid of Florida. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

She is proceeded in death by her husband Joseph, parents Wade and Florence Wilson and brothers Ephraim, Erie and Elom and 2 grandchildren Jake and McKenzie Reid. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Heartland Hospice for the compassionate care of their mother.

Mass of Christian Burial For Sarah will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday April 5, 2024 at St. Peters Catholic Chruch-800 Fourth Avenue. Rev John Potaczek will be officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. in the St. Faustina Room at the church until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.
